Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Capability — JPMRC

PLI possesses deep domain Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Capability (JPMRC) knowledge. Members of PLI's management and technical staff assisted in the JPMRC concept development, proposed and won the competitive solicitation, and deployed the system. PLI's specific knowledge encompasses all systems including; multi-level security mechanisms, infrastructure components (from diesel generators to supporting range towers, aviation infrastructure, etc), detailed knowledge of IA structure and networking provisions, video ingest, capture and playback, detailed knowledge of deployment of Mission Command Systems in conjunction with HITS components to derive AAR products.

Tactical Engagement Simulation Systems

Phoenix Logistics is developing ground and air TESS components to support live training. Our special projects team has prototyped an air worthy Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) for use on low dynamic, airborne platforms, including helicopters and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).

Airborne TESS

The PLI developed airborne TESS provides a non-proprietary, RF data link to telemeter positional, weapon and aircraft state data to a ground station. PLI's approach to provisioning TESS is unique in that it assumes open architecture and open interface standards that allow easy connection to live training peripherals. For example, the PLI TESS data link connects to a ground station via published Live Training Transformation (LT2) Gateway standards so that the TESS can be deployed and used in any Combat Training Center (CTC) or Home Station environment where other LT2 systems are deployed. The PLI TESS is also unique in that it is designed to use Live Training Engagement Composition (LTEC) components that provide a re-usable capability for live training attributes like determination of Real Time Casualty Assessment (RTCA) and follow-on migration to embedded training. Through this innovative approach, the PLI TESS is the only TESS available that meets the Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation's (PEO-STRI) vision for open architecture, inclusion of reusable components and non-proprietary interfaces. From the airborne platform perspective, the system was also developed using open architecture standards so that it can be evolved to accommodate multiple platform interfaces (including MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-429, Ethernet and other Future Airborne Capability Environment –FACE interface requirements). The PLI TESS system can be deployed in either the console or in remote mount configuration based upon user requirements. Minor adaptations to airborne mounting features and housings allow the primary components of the PLI airborne TESS to be used on military or civilian ground vehicles (including combat systems).

Ground TESS

Phoenix Logistics is a supporting team member of the PEO-STRI Personal Area Network (PAN) standard development and prototype development. Our development of a fully PAN compliant Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES) detector will be the first full instantiation of the standards developed within the PM TRADE MILES Standards working group.

Support to Consolidated Productline Management

PLI has an extensive heritage of provisioning specialized componentry and integrating systems on airborne platforms. This experience, joined with our Telecommunication Systems Engineering Program (TSEP) and Combat Training Center (CTC) knowledge allow PLI to support Aviation and Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) architectural developments within the Consolidated Productline Management (CPM) venue. Our deep domain Subject Matter Expertise (SME) knowledge in these areas is second to none with Senior Army Aviation Combat Trainers from the US Army's prestigious National Training Center (NTC) on staff.
