Phoenix Logistics Awarded Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) Prime Contract

On 27 March 2020, Phoenix Logistics, Inc. (PLI) was awarded a $516,000,000 Prime Contract by the US Army Contracting Command (ACC) Orlando to provide development sustainment and deployment capabilities to the US Army’s Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) Program of Record across the full range of warfighting functions. As the Army’s constructive simulation product suite, JLCCTC supports institutional and operational unit training, for Active, Reserve and National Guard Units by providing the capabilities required to replicate the full spectrum of military operations to include offensive, defensive, and stability/civil support operations. PLI’s President and CEO, Al Funderburk proudly stated “This award is extremely significant in that PLI will perform work that contributes directly to the training and readiness of the US Army’s Warfighting Commander’s and their Staff, while developing the Army’s Next Generation Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Constructive Training Capability”. He went on to state, “This is also a great win for our Engineering Services Simulation & Training Division that has had several recent successes supporting major Engineering Services Programs for PEO STRI”. PLI will perform the JLCCTC Services Program from their Orlando, FL offices, providing overall Program Management, System of Systems Development, Sustainment, Integration & Test, Fielding and Exercise Support. Significant teammates in the effort include Riptide Software, Inc., General Dynamics Mission Systems, Janus Research Group and Polaris Alpha Advanced Systems, a Parsons Company.



Greg Lundberg Hired as Senior Vice President

Phoenix Logistics, Inc. (PLI) is pleased to announce that Greg Lundberg has joined our team as Senior Vice President (SVP) and General Manager (GM) of the Aerospace Design and Manufacturing Division in Gilbert, AZ.

Greg comes with over 30 years of Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management experience; including 20 plus years in the Aerospace sector. He is a six-sigma, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement champion. He brings a diverse background from working in multiple industries such as aerospace, defense, semiconductor high vacuum / gases and industrial power. Prior to joining PLI, Greg served as Vice President for Operations and Business Unit Leader at General Electric in Phoenix, Arizona. PLI's President and CEO, Al Funderburk noted, "Greg is a tremendous addition to our team. His experience and leadership will enable our Aerospace Division to move rapidly toward system level integration and higher value added production and final fabrication of complex systems. We are all excited about the capabilities that Greg brings."

Greg has a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Arizona State University.




PLI Awarded CBCSE Task Order 2

Phoenix Logistics, Inc. (PLI) is pleased to announce the award of Task Order 0002 under Army Contracting Command (ACC) - Orlando prime IDIQ contract Common Battle Command Simulation Equipment (CBCSE), supporting U.S. Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) Program Manager for Integration Training Environment (PM ITE). The awarded contract task order is under a single-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract and has an award value of $19.4 million dollars with a 16-month POP. This contract task order represents PLI’s continued dedication and support to the U.S. Army’s mission of providing its Warfighters the highest level of training.

In the execution of the Common Battle Command Simulation Equipment contract PLI provides the procurement and deployment of the CBCSE hardware configuration and software licenses in support of the PEO STRI, PM ITE’s Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) program of record. The contract requirements include System and Network Engineering analysis of Government requirements and specifications; CBCSE hardware and software procurement; hardware installation/configuration; and configuration management (CM) of CBCSE Products for 40 JLCCTC Sites in CONUS and OCONUS. The program is managed by PLI’s Critical Infrastructure Division in Orlando, FL. PLI’s President and CEO, AL Funderburk noted “We have enjoyed supporting the U.S. Army on CBCSE for the past year and we look forward to continuing our support for the warfighters under this task order.” Funderburk went on to say “This Task Order award represents the government’s confidence in PLI to continue providing the highest quality of support to CBCSE and JLCCTC, and provides me the opportunity to express publicly my pride in the PLI’s Team ability to deliver unparalleled support to our government customers from our growing Simulation and Training Division in Orlando”.

Since establishing operations in Orlando four years ago PLI has been awarded four Prime Contracts through ACC Orlando and a major Sub-Contract with Lockheed Martin’s Army TADDS Maintenance Program.
