Executive Management Team

Al Funderburk - President and CEO

Mr. Funderburk has served in multiple leadership and staff assignments over the past 30 years. As a former military officer he commanded combat aviation units in the XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg, NC as well as acting in numerous staff and training positions to include  Aviation Combat Trainer at the US Army’s National Training Center at Fort Irwin, CA. With an extensive background in complex aerospace systems integration and modelling and simulation, Al transitioned to industry in 2001 to take over the Comanche Helicopter’s Operational Test instrumentation program and has progressed through the industry ranks from project engineer to Senior Vice President and General Manager of a multi-divisional operation for a Fortune 250 Defence Contractor. Al has a BS in Computer Science, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a certification as Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is an active member of the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) and the Association of the United States Army (AUSA).


 Chris Morgan -  EVP and Chief Financial Officer 


Mr. Chris Morgan has over 20 years of Operations and Finance experience. He brings a diverse background having worked in multiple industries with emphasis in government contracting. Prior to joining Phoenix Logistics, he served as CFO for Koniag, Inc. and Ukpeagivik Inupiat Corporation where he was directly involved in their very successful financial and operational turnarounds. Chris' core strengths include: strategic management, financial reporting and analysis (budgeting and forecasting), external reporting, tax planning, information system implementation, audit management and board communications. Mr. Morgan graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Accounting.


Greg Williamitis - EVP and Director of Strategy (Orlando, Florida)


Colonel (Retired) Greg Williamitis has a distinguished military and civilian leadership history, including his most recent position as Vice President and Director of Business Development for SAIC/Leidos Orlando Operations. Mr. Williamitis retired from the US Army where he served in various leadership positions within Armored, Mechanized, Airborne, Air Assault, and Special Operations Units. Greg’s assignments included command of an Apache equipped Attack Battalion, the Senior Aviation Trainer at the National Training Center, Training and Doctrine Command System Manager for Reconnaissance and Attack Programs, Material Team Chief for the Future Combat System, and Chief of the Force Application Division for the Army Capability Integration Center. Greg is an active member of the Association of the United States Army, the Army Aviation Association of America, and the American Helicopter Society.


Belinda Lewis - SVP and General Manager Engineering Services (Orlando, Florida)

Ms. Belinda Lewis brings over 20 years' experience in all aspects of development and program management of Department of Defense programs. She began her career performing systems engineering and software development on numerous high profile tactical systems such as  the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) anti-ballistic missile defense systems, the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV) amphibious assault vehicle and  the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) before establishing herself as a leader in the training and simulation industry.

Belinda’s core strengths include her ability to foster a culture of innovation and development, extensive experience in building customer relationship, proven track record in leading organizational change, as well as a strong program management and engineering background.   Ms. Lewis holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering and Computer Science at Jackson State University and has completed her advanced degree in Electrical Engineering at U. C. Berkeley.


Greg Lundberg - SVP and General Manager Aerospace Manufacturing (Gilbert, Arizona)

Mr. Greg Lundberg has over 30 years of Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Management experience. He is a six-sigma, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement champion. Mr. Lundberg brings a diverse background from working in multiple industries such as aerospace, defense, semiconductor high vacuum/gases, and industrial power. Prior to joining the Company, Greg served as Vice President of Operations for Inter-Coastal Electronics and a Business Unit Leader for General Electric. Greg’s core strengths include strategic planning, manufacturing, product development, supply chain, enterprise resource planning (MRP), ISO-9001 & AS-9100 implementation and business turnarounds. He also participated in several mergers & acquisitions. Mr. Lundberg has a B.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Arizona State University.


Rick Stikkers - SVP and Chief Engineer (Orlando, Florida)


Mr. Stikkers has over 20 years Engineering and Operations experience in the Modeling and Simulation community.  Mr. Stikkers started his career as a US Army Engineer Officer. He then moved to Raytheon and held positions of greater responsibility including Engineering Division Manager at the National Training Center, Chief Engineer for Raytheon’s Global Training Solutions Mission Area, and Combat Training Center manager.  Rick brings a deep understanding of the Live Training community, being key to the architecture development and sustainment of nearly all Live Training devices.  Rick has a BS in Computer Science and a Master’s Degree in Procurement and Acquisitions Management.


Chris DePiano - Quality Manager for Aerospace Manufacturing (Gilbert, AZ)

Mr. DePiano retired from the US Army where he had a distinguished, 21 year career in Counter Intelligence. He has 15 years' experience working in the manufacturing industry serving as General Manager (GM) for CTL-SystemWare where he also implemented the company's Quality Management System (QMS). Chris is trained in advanced electronics, RF theory, analog and digital telephony, computer security, intrustion detection systems and counter-surreptitious entry. His experience in Quality Management Systems and exacting standards of matters involving the National Defense make Chris the ideal Quality Manager for PLI's diverse program portfolio; from aerospace MFG to defense services. Chris has a bachelor's degree from Excelsior College.

 Kelly LeFevre - Vice President and Director of HR

Ms. LeFevre has over 15 years' experience in human resources, supporting a variety of industries including defense, industrial services, healthcare, property management and government. Kelly began her career at Northrop Grumman Corporation and has also served as HR Consultant for Pinal County, AZ and Diversified Human Resources where she assisted leaders in the areas of employee relations, recruitment and leadership development. Most recently, Kelly worked for the town of Gilbert, AZ where she led their compensation and performance management programs. Kelly has a bachelors degree in Management from George Mason University and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Industrial and Organization Psychology at Grand Canyon University.
