Executive & Management Team

  • Al Funderburk: Chief Executive Officer
    Al FunderburkAl Funderburk has served in multiple leadership and staff assignments over the past 27 years. As a former military officer he commanded combat aviation units in the XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg, NC as well as acting in numerous staff and training positions to include Aviation Combat Trainer at the US Army’s National Training Center at Fort Irwin, CA. With an extensive background in complex aerospace systems integration and modelling and simulation, Al transitioned to industry in 2001 to take over the Comanche Helicopter’s Operational Test instrumentation program and has progressed through the industry ranks from project engineer to Senior Vice President and General Manager of a $200M dollar, multi-divisional operation for a Fortune 250 Defence Contractor. Al has a BS in Computer Science, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a certification as Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is an active member of the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) and the Association of the United States Army (AUSA).

  • Greg Williamitis: Senior Vice President, Program Development
    greg-williamitisGreg Williamitis has a distinguished military and civilian leadership history, including his most recent position as Vice President and Director of Business Development for SAIC/Leidos Orlando Operations. Mr. Williamitis retired from the US Army where he served in various leadership positions within Armored, Mechanized, Airborne, Air Assault, and Special Operations Units. Greg’s assignments included command of an Apache equipped Attack Battalion, the Senior Aviation Trainer at the National Training Center, Training and Doctrine Command System Manager for Reconnaissance and Attack Programs, Material Team Chief for the Future Combat System, and Chief of the Force Application Division for the Army Capability Integration Center. Greg is an active member of the Association of the United States Army, the Army Aviation Association of America, and the American Helicopter Society.

  • Blaine G. Kriebel: Vice President — Aerospace Program Development
    BKriebelBefore joining Phoenix Logistics, Kriebel was the Director of Program Management for the Aerospace business unit at Ducommun, Inc in Phoenix, AZ. He has held positions including Senior Program Manager as well as Proposal Manager, also with Ducommun. Kriebel has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing with significant exposure to cross-functional disciplines including program management, finance, operations, quality, supply chain, and engineering. Blaine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Warner University and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. This strong background and customer focus provides the foundation to ensure Phoenix Logistics delivers high quality solutions to their customers.

  • Reed Dent: Chief Financial Officer
    reed dent smallMr. Reed Dent, CFO for Phoenix Logistics, Inc. (PLI), has over 30 years of accounting and finance experience. Mr. Dent brings a diverse background by working at multiple aerospace and defense companies with emphasis in government contracting. Prior to joining PLI, Reed served as Controller at publicly held companies L3 and Chromalloy and privately held M2 Services Corporation where he was directly involved in fueling their growth. He played a key role in developing financial systems to secure key contract wins and effective and timely reporting. Mr. Dent’s core strengths include; information systems development, financial planning, financial reporting and analysis, strategic financial management, regulatory compliance and continuous process improvement. Mr. Dent graduated with a B.A. in Accounting from Utah State University and an M.S. in Accounting & Information Systems from Arizona State University and is a CPA in the State of Arizona.

  • Julie Larson: Director of Operations
    Julie LarsonJulie Larson, Director of Operations for Phoenix Logistics has over 30 years of accounting and finance experience with a focus on cost control. She has spent the last 8 years with PLI implementing standard labor processes and metrics, inventory quality control, and cost reducing initiatives. Prior to joining PLI, Julie spent 10 years in banking as a manager and consumer loan officer before starting her own business. Julie recently served as President of a nonprofit women's volunteer group, overseeing the physical and spiritual welfare of over 150 women and their families. Ms. Larson's strengths lie in leadership, team building, process improvement and cost control.

  • Tom Hatfield: Special Projects
    Tom HatfieldMr. Hatfield has 30 years of industrial experience. He joined Phoenix Logistics in 2009. His background comes from the Semiconductor industry with Motorola from 1980 through 2004. He held various positions as Director of Operations, Test Engineering Manager, Product Engineering Manager and Quality/Reliability. Prior to coming to Phoenix Logistics, Tom was the Director of Engineering at Arizona Instrument LLC from 2005 through 2008, developing and launching instrumentation for moisture analysis and toxic gas analysis. With a diverse background in design, manufacturing and product development, Tom leads Phoenix Logistics’ efforts to develop high quality products that meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Randy Blanchard: Quality Manager
    BlanchardRandy Blanchard has 21 years of experience working in the following market segments; Space and Satellite Systems, Military training simulation equipment, Software Configuration Management and Electrical Power Distribution Systems. Prior to joining Phoenix Logistics in 2015, Randy worked in operations at organizations including Honeywell and Eaton. This strong foundation of experience enables Randy to increase effectiveness and efficiency in meeting our customer’s quality objectives. As a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Randy focuses on driving continuous improvement in both manufacturing and business processes at PLI. His drive for quality, detail, and process improvement will enable Phoenix Logistics to continue to focus on providing products and services which consistently exceed our customer’s expectations.
